JBL filterstart contains concentrate of 15 millions bacteria which breakdown pollutants, in particular proteins, ammonium/ammonia and nitrite. It is advice to add after the end of the treatment with bactericidal medications such as JBL Furanol, JBL Ektol fluid to reactivate the biological filter.
