Chew Thean Yeang Aquarium Sdn. Bhd. is wholly-owned subsidiary of CSL Group of Companies. CTY Aquarium is a family owned and operated business in Penang, founded by Dato Chew Seng Lye since 1963. With the valuable idea of "Pets should be considered part of our family and should be treated with the same kind of respect and kindness with which we treat the other members of our family." He started his own business and devoted himself to the pet industry and he is passionate about pets and want others to share that passion.

To date, we are the 1st and only 1-stop Pets Brand Shop in the Penang Heritage Building at Burma Road since 2004. The building occupied 30,000 square feet of size. We carry huge selections of pets and aquatics products, livestock includes dogs, cats, fishes, birds, reptiles, and small animals. We also provide grooming & boarding services for pets. Apart from that, veterinary services & pets trainning centre are on our waiting list of future business development.

CTY offers Aquatic Edutainment Tour which are specifically designed to supplement the education offered in schools through a variety practical experiences that go beyond the classrooms. Experiences that teach, inspire and motivate children to discover and pursue their passions towards the well-being of pets. We work with some of the reputed education service providers, schools, and universities to create an everlasting memorable experiences to all our visitors.

CTY Aquarium boasts 450 tanks which display aquatic habitats from all over the world and its hosts more than 2,258 different aquatic species. Apart from that mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fishes and invertebrates are also on the hot demand list. In this regard, with Penang Heritage Building featured also attracted more than 100,000 visitors every year to participate in this Aquatic Edutainment Tour.

With the strategic structure of building as well as relaxing ambience, CTY is the ideal weekend destination for pets lover with family to have a lovely time away from the hustle and bustle to strengthen family relationship.
